Grants to support research into a range of medical fields will once again be available as part of the 2018 BMA Foundation for Medical Research awards.
From next year, the foundation will be making £575,000 available for UK-registered BMA members and research scientists working in the UK who are looking to undertake research.
Support is being made available through a total of 11 separate grants including the Doris Hillier grant which provides £50,000 towards research into rheumatism and arthritis, and the Margaret Temple grant, which offers £50,000 for studies into schizophrenia.
Applications, which are open to ongoing or prospective research projects, will open on 1 January through the BMA Foundation website and close on 2 March.
For more information email the BMA or call (020) 7383 6341.
